Booking a call

Calls are booked through a Google Calendar appointment page. When you book, you give your name, your email address and answers to three short questions about your competition experience and goals. I use this to hold the call, prepare for it and follow up afterwards. The legal basis is the steps you ask me to take before a possible coaching agreement (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).

Google Ireland Limited processes this data on my behalf as part of my Google Workspace subscription, under Google's data processing terms. Please do not put health or injury details in the booking form; if they matter for coaching, we cover them on the call or in the intake that follows, with your explicit consent.

If you do not become an athlete with GRIT, I delete the booking and its answers within twelve months of the call. If you do, the data moves into your athlete file under the coaching agreement, which has its own privacy terms.

Email

If you email me, I keep the exchange for as long as it takes to deal with it and for up to twelve months afterwards, unless it becomes part of a coaching agreement. Mail runs on Google Workspace, under the same processing terms as above.

Links to other sites

Links to Instagram and OpenPowerlifting take you to sites run by others. Their privacy notices apply there, not this one.

Your rights

You can ask me for access to your data, for a correction, for erasure, for a restriction of processing, or for a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Email me and I will answer within one month. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be).

Changes

If this notice changes, the new version appears here with a new date. Nothing is applied retroactively without telling you.
